Sigh, I am going to miss everyone back in Athens, especially Father.
I am going to write a farewell letter to him and I hope he would understand it.

Dear Father,

You have been a great dad to me. However, there are times I have to
make my own decisions and do what I really want to do. Living the way that I
don't wish to be will only make me feel miserable. I know you want me to marry
Demetrius and hope that as time pass by, I might have some feelings for him. But
Father, have you ever thought that I might never love Demetrius in my entire
life. My life only revolves around Lysander. I wish you would understand, that
way, I will not have make rash decisions. I am leaving Father, leaving with the man that I love the most. Its my decision and I won't regret it. I want my own life, Father. I am no longer the small little child who follows whatever my parents tell me to. This time round, its my turn to make my own decision, because I'm a grown woman. I wish you would respect that but all you can ever think of is my marriage with Demetrius. To die or to live for a guy is something that I choose not to do. Please Father, persuade me not to leave, persuade me to marry Lysander and not Demetrius, please Father, I really hope you would understand.
